Cyber Monday, which lands on December 1, is forecast   to be the biggest online shopping day of the year. It is the date when many consumers rush to purchase items online to ensure   that gifts arrive in time for Christmas. It follows Black Friday, the first Friday after US holiday Thanksgiving, when   high street stores launch their seasonal special offers to tempt in   Christmas shoppers.
