The speed that you are quoted is not guaranteed
Unfortunately, the speed that you are quoted is not necessarily the speed that you will get; it’s just the maximum speed possible. It is beneficial to do your research in your area, speak with neighbouring businesses and find out what average speeds they receive, this will give you a more realistic idea of what to expect and will help you to plan accordingly.
Unlimited internet is not faster
It sure would make everything a lot easier, but sadly, this is not the case. Unlimited internet refers to the amount of data that you have access to over the course of one month; this means that you won’t run out of internet allowance which is always great news for businesses, it also means that there are no hefty charges for going over your data allowance. However, your speeds may still suffer. Always check the small print when it comes to unlimited internet, not many businesses give away something for nothing and some providers choose to slow down the speeds that you receive after you have used a certain amount of data.
More users mean slower speeds
This can be true, depending on the type of line that you have chosen. In some cases, if several people are connected to the same device then it can slow down your internet speed. This can begin to cause problems if you have a contact centre or require several employees to be connected throughout the day at the same time.
